There will be six inset days for 2010-11. Apart from Thursday 2nd September and Friday 3rd September we are yet to allocate which days they will be. You will receive this information at the beginning of next term.
In addition to the inset days we will be having 3 days for school closure . Once again, the first one will be on 1st September but the others will be confirmed for you when we return.
Please note that children will not be returning to school until Monday, 6th September 2010.

Schools must meet for at least 380 sessions in each academic year (i.e. 190 days). Teaching staff are required to work a further five days each year for the purpose of professional training. All schools will have 5 days of training/planning spread throughout the year. Schools will be closed to pupils on these days. Training/planning days are organised individually by each school.
