Admissions

Starting School
For 4 olds year starting school in Reception, parents need to fill in a form, found in the back of the 'Admission to Primary Schools in South Gloucestershire' booklet and return it to the South Gloucestershire Council (not the school). The return address is printed at the top of the form. This booklet is available from our school office, or can be found in any primary or infant school and sometimes libraries/preschools.

Applications for the September intake have to be made by the end of the previous October. They will notify you in writing when a place has been allocated. This is usually in the Spring term.

If you are making a late application for a Reception place, it is best to contact South Gloucestershire Council Admissions and Transport Unit - 01454 863155

For all other year groups - Year 1-6
Forms are available from our school office or from South Gloucestershire Council Admissions and Transport Unit - 01454 863155. These forms need to be returned to the Council (details are on the form). South Gloucestershire Admissions and Transport unit are usually able to tell parents if there is a place available within 1/2 days. If you are moving into the area, they require written evidence of the move, e.g. proof of exchange of contract, a letting agreement, or a letter from an employer confirming details of the move.

Visit the School
Parents are most welcome to visit our school at any stage of the process. In fact many parents make a couple of visits. Please arrange a mutually convenient time with the school office (0117 9372579)
